Staci, Kat, Mel and I decided to go down to CBC to visit the campus and while on the way got into an accident. We were traveling down the interstate when all of the sudden there we car stoped in front of us and must have been in park because there weren't any brake lights on. All that I knew to do to keep from ramming into the rear end of the cars ahead of us was to slam on the brakes and try to take it into the ditch. When we hit the ditch the rolled and injured us. All I remember was trying to get out of the car and make sure the girls got out and were safe but falling over and passing out. The was a man who helped us and I remember him telling me that everything was going to be ok and to stay with him. The next thing I remember was being in the ambulance. Staci was pretty much ok except for some scratches, bruises and soreness and didn't need any major medical treatment. Kat had some minor injuries and went to the hospital to be checked out and was released later yesterday. Melanie also had some minor injuries including a ankle that was sprained pretty badly. As for myself my forhead was tore up really bad and required surgery to stitch everything back together. The doctor that performed the surgery was a plastic surgeon who said that it is going to probably take many more surgeries to get my forhead back to how it should be. I was released from the hospital this morning and am now at home. I won't be able to go to camp or anything this summer which is a real bummer yo. But the worst part is that I might not be able to start college this fall because of the surgeries that I have to have. I would really appreciate all the prayers that you could send our way. Prayers for a speedy recovery for the girls and I. I know that I am extremely blessed to be sitting here typing away and I thank God for his hand during this time. Thanks for everything and if you could spare the time, send the girls a myspace message of encouragement.

Another day in the life of an intern...

Some people may think that being a intern is a drag sometimes. Well I would tell them that they are half-way right. Now, days like today make it fun. We held a Section 8 meeting at the church (which required me to be at the church early to help set up) and had a blast. The cool part was after the hang out time we went out to eat at the new chinese buffet, for free I might add. I also got to experience our new section presbyter make a donation to the wonderful police department of Enid. Hilarious. Well tomorrow we are going to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. I'm pretty stoked. We are also picking up our PS3 for the Youth/Kids Ministry tomorrow. We got a great deal on it thanks to the hook up of knowing an used car dealer. Well peace out, and if you can spare the time, leave me comments yo.
